Individuals with business or management experience and a net-worth set by the Canadian government may apply for a Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa, and this is usually undertaken within the Canada Business Immigration Program in one of the following three sub-categories:
Citizen and Immigration Canada has announced changes to this program and has put a temporary hold on all applications in this category. It is envisaged that the new program will require the applicant to invest $800,000.00 and have a net worth of $1.6 million CDN.
